So I've started renting cheap DVDs from Civic Video again because we're done with tests! Wooohoooo! But have one more Producing assignment to hand in by next Fri. Will do it over the weekend. Promise.
The Tale of Despereaux didn't live up to my expectations unfortunately. Cute at some points but maybe I'm just expecting to much of animation films nowadays with Pixar Studios knocking our socks off with every movie they create. Seriously, they beat their competition hands down.
Lakeview Terrace was interesting and all but it got kind of draggy in the middle even though it is only about a 100 mins long. Nothing too fantastic really, in my opinion.
Can't wait to watch InkHeart and Burn After Reading.
I've been feeling so tired these last few days... I think it's cause I haven't been able to sleep in properly; always having to wake up for some thing or other. Yesterday for my Skype interview which got postponed, today to go get my car serviced, and tomorrow, again, for that interview that got postponed. Argh. I need sleeeeep. Shall try and sleep early tonight. Catch up with some Zs. |

This blogging thing seems ancient with Twitter and Facebook going crazy. But nothing beats a good ol' journal aye? Done with my L&F prezo. Barely. I think it's shit, but I honestly can't be bothered anymore. Now, to tackle the last essay for this semester. I just can't stop thinking of the photo trips I'm planning on going on as soon as exams are over! SPRING is here for goodness' sake! Scenery is just gorgeous everywhere now. :) EXCITED.
I bought another hat today for photography purposes, or so I claim. Haha. And like a couple of other random things I probably don't need but would like to have. Damn. Today was like a "buy what you don't need and probably already have but want another copy of" day. That SUCKS. And rocks a the same time. Paradox.
F21 items should be arriving soon though. That should be fun!!!!!! :D
So, I did my Prezo in one day and need to do my 2000 word essay in the same amount of time (or less) as well. I'm so pushing it this time. ARGH. I have to stop "apple+s"ing my entry.
TZ's car is arriving in approximately 12-13 hours. So excited for her. Don't know why also.
Ok Hooked onto Cafe World on FB. Going cooking crazy. TZ just started her account. YES AH. Now, she won't be a black girl as my waitress in my cafe. LOL.

I just watched Butterfly Effect for the first time in my life today... even though it's been out since 2004 and everyone has raved about it. I never got to watch the ending that was shown in the theatre though, so I can only imagine from what Keith has told me. In the Director's cut, they had a different ending, they showed Evan going back to his birth, while he was still in his mummy's tummy. She's in pain because Evan is trying to strangle himself with the umbilical cord. You hear voiceovers of how she's had two or three stillbirths before Evan. And it just makes you wonder... because it's hereditary, did the babies before Evan do the same thing as he did just to avoid whatever they knew was coming. It figures, I suppose. I can see why this ending didn't make it to the cinemas. To see a baby strangle itself would be kinda odd to the non-analysing audience. Kinda gruesome, even.
There wasn't a particular purpose in typing all that out. I just felt like it. On another note, I've this presentation to prepare for. About time and non-linear narrative and all that shizz about cinema. God help me. I guess I know where I'm going with it, I just need some references to my text (which is ridiculously long).
Mom got a cute new red bicycle for her birthday. Pity I missed the whole thing. Wonder if I would choose not to come to Perth if I could do-over huh? Life is full of "what-if"s and if Butterfly Effect has shown us anything... don't fuck with it man.
So anyways... Here's my 2 cents.

Watched 4 movies in the span of 24hrs. 4 more to go if I have the balls and time. Probably 3 if I've to be honest. But 2, if I had a choice. Haven't written one word of the essay but have it more or less imagined in my brain, I'm sure. I'm just not sure how I'm going to imagine out 3000 words. 1000 a day. That should do it. I think. Wish me luck.

Still busy editing my music video. I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to work, it almost annoys me. I think I'll do another video with a different song. See how that turns out and pick the best one. Let's all pray that works out for me.
I wanna streak my hair purple. I think if my hairdresser won't curl my hair at the end of the year, I'm gonna streak it purple instead. That'll piss her off fo' sure. Like why in the first place would she not want to curl my hair right? Well, that's my hairdresser. Haha. I'm gonna do it anyway, despite the fact that the last time I wanted to do it, everyone agreed it'd be sooo ah lian to do it. But not like I haven't gone down that slippery road before with my blondes. LOL. Let's see if it'll pull through this time. I hope I remember this at the end of the year though. :x
I'm kinda bummed I'm gonna be missing Aoki tomorrow night. I'm gonna paint my nails bright green again in honor of the event. HAHAHA. Psycho. If Aoki comes to Perth, I promise I will go for my virgin clubbing experience here. I WILL. I MUST. PLEASE COME TO PERTH NEXT WEEK. ☆ Had no class on Wednesday because the lecturers went on Strike.
This only happens everywhere else but in Singapore.
☆ I got a D- for my first Screen Text Essay. (FYI, D for Distinction)
Which is pretty awesome considering I did it the night before.
☆ A real twit has been getting on my nerves just for existing.
I wish I wasn't so clever, then I wouldn't be able to see people for who they really are.

Recently bought this curling iron and a flat iron and realised I won't be using this curling iron as much compared to my flat iron. So I'm selling it for S$180. Selling price is about $200 in Singapore. Have only used it once to try it out. Otherwise it's brand new.
This photo description has all the information you'll need to know. 25mm/1 inch is for big and loose curls. The difference between this curling iron and others is that it sets the curls way faster (in half the time) compared to other curling irons. Hence, there isn't a clip on this curling iron. Which is good as well so hair won't get stuck in that damn clip groove all the time! The kevlar glove allows u to have more control when curling ur hair so you won't burn ur hand in the process.

Wow. I am SO bored. Now that Deb has gotten herself a job, I'm going to be even more lonely!
Keith is working this whole week, obviously TZ is too. Kor kor is in London this week as well. Booooo... I should go look for a job. Like any random part-time job. But if I find a job now, I can't really work because I'll be going to Bangkok. So I just realised that I shouldn't even bother until 23rd June. And then I can only work for a month until abt 23rd July before I go back. Wow that sucks. Just when I thought I had a plan. Prfft. I should start decorating my mask. But being lazy as usual. I don't even have a an outfit yet. :( How boring. Sucks when your partner in crime is busy and your accomplices are also busy. Whine whine whine. Gonna bleed soon. Damn it! Gonna bleed in BKK.

My cousin has set up a blog shop with a couple of his friends. They sell guys' clothes. That isn't as common, so that's cool! The guys finally have a chance to have a go at this sinful pleasure! Gonna meet Sa and Deb laters at the all new Tampines One. I saw Topshop on the way to the MRT the other day. I'm excited! Oh and speaking about MRTs. LJ is so full of sorrow. Have seen close, not so close and used-to-be-close friends log down the miseries of their lives and suddenly, I'm not alone. I start to wonder if I've been a good enough friend to them, to any of them at one point or other. I hope I have. I miss the times spent with every one of them. Every time I see some internet activity by someone I know or used to know, I reminisce the past as if it were as natural as breathing. I feel so far away... by distance and emotionally. Sometimes I know it's me being lazy to put in enough effort to keep those who mean anything to me, close by my side. But I keep trying every now and then, whenever I'm reminded, though sometimes I'm just too afraid to try after such a long while has passed. So, occasionally, I use occasions as an excuse. So I guess this is an invitation to everyone I've had a decent conversation with the last time we had one. It probably means I don't hate you as much as those I've never bothered striking another conversation with after a bad one. But it still means I miss you. And I would love to see you at my place on the 19th. RSVP wherever I can see. Please don't be shy. The friends of mine I know, are rarely shy. Ha.
